Reviews
This is an Indian Grocery Store in Newport and probably the only store around the vicinity. It has all the items required although a little pricey but you have to pay a charge for convenience. They also have a small kitchen with a limited menu which is delicious. Since the time we ate there we always eat from Prime. Along with mains, they also have chat and snack options which are really good.
They have a pretty good selection of Indian groceries.
However, you might want to keep an eye out on their expiration dates. I got Dosa batter from here which had expired a couple of days before I even bought it. My fault really for not being observant.
Fresh groceries! The best part is the fresh food! Very tasty food and feels like home cooked. Food is never oily! Highly recommended.
Excellent chaat items. Highlights- Vada Pav (very close to Mumbai), Papdi Chhat, Samosa Chaat. Dabeli is average. Their snacks are great too.
The store on general is perfect as it offers a lot of indian produce.
This is a good place to get Indian grocery items and some Indian snacks. They have most items you would find at Patel Brothers or other big Indian grocery stores. They also serve a small menu of Indian food which has never disappointed us in terms of taste. However, the quantity of food has decreased while the prices have increased. We got mix pakoras for $6.99 and the box literally had only 8 tiny pieces of pakoras (see picture).
You get most of the Indian staples/vegetables here. It is very very pricey though. The food counter is double the price of Bikanerwala. Normally if you buy the same stuff from Journal Square or any other shop like Mortan Williams you can easily save a lot of money.
Food kitchen.
Samosa is the best.
Produce is good if you time it right.
Some street parking.
A great Indian store near Newport with lots of items to choose from and satisfying any desi cravings.
